Chartres Labyrinth

The original labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral was built around 1200 and is laid into the floor in a style sometimes referred to as a pavement maze. The original center piece has been removed and other areas of the labyrinth have been restored. The Chartres pattern is probably the most recognized pattern of labyrinths. We have adhered to the Chartres pattern in the design and production of our hand made finger labyrinths and other labyrinth gifts and art.
