iSpiritual to Partner with Dr. Lauren Artress of Veriditas to Help Consumers Unlock the Mysterious Physical and Mental Health Benefits of Labryinths

Personal Labyrinth

Santa Rosa, CA- iSpiritual and Veriditas announce this week they will be joining to educate and promote the use of labyrinths as a tool for meditation and spiritual healing. The labyrinth is an ancient winding pattern based dating back thousands of years. According to a recent American Psychological Association (APA) study 43 percent of U.S. adults suffer adverse health effects from stress.  Regular meditation has been found to reduce the negative side effects associated with stress and anxiety.

Rita Caroni, owner of iSpiritual Labyrinths, has worked to educate her customers on these benefits for over a decade.  "They bring you back to calmness. Labyrinths are a spiritual tool. We see time and again the value of using them for healing." The labyrinth design recognized by most people today is a replica of the 11-circuit labyrinth of Chartres Cathedral in France. This pattern, once central to cathedral culture, was inlaid into the stone floor in 1201 and has since been used by a range of cultures.

iSpiritual will be partnering with Veriditas, an organization led by renowned labyrinth expert and teacher, The Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress.  The Rev. Dr. Artress is also author of the book, "Walking The Sacred Path".  The two organizations have pledged to introduce more people to the healing, meditative powers of the labyrinth.

As part of the new partnership, the companies are collaborating to develop new products and the Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress will be producing and hosting online radio program titled "The Wisdom of the Labyrinth". Rev. Dr. Artress the program is scheduled to run on Thursdays at 12 noon (PST) beginning May 14, 2009 on http://va.radiopilot.net/voiceamerica/vchannel.aspx.
